The lawyer who is representing Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan in their trafficking and rape case says there’s “no evidence” proving that either of them was ever involved in such a crime. In a recent interview with Romanian news outlet Gandul, Eugen Vidineac addressed the controversy that came with their arrest on December 29 after one of their homes was raided in connection to the ongoing investigation.
While the pair were initially expected to be held for 24 hours, that was later extended to 30 days, with law enforcement officials also arresting two other female associates. Eugen argues that based on the information thrown against the pair, he plans to appeal their 30-day custody during their next court appearance on January 10, stressing that both Andrew and Tristan are being detained on baseless claims.

“There is not a single piece of evidence, other than the victim’s statement, that would lead to the idea that any crime of rape was committed,” he said. “From my point of view, there is no evidence there either, and I am talking about evidence that leads, by itself or directly, to the formation of an opinion.”
According to their legal rep, the Tate brothers were left feeling “scared” in court due to the language barrier as neither of them could understand the translation given to them as their charges were being read out.
“The Tate brothers signaled on several occasions that they did not understand the translation and looked at the defense quite scared, questioning: what is happening, what is being talked about?” Eugen continued.
“I intervened twice, both myself and my colleague Adrian Săndulescu, to request the court to change the translator since the defendants do not faithfully or even generally understand the accusations brought against them.”
My experience with Andrew Tate has been nothing but positive.
It truly upsets me how the media will try to erase the amazing impacts this man has made.
Sending the Tate brothers my prayers. May Allah protect them.

Prosecutors are accusing the brothers of recruiting women on social media and persuading them to travel out to their hideaway in Bucharest where they would engage in sexual activities — most of which were allegedly forced on them.
It’s claimed that there were six women being held hostage at Andrew’s property after he had placed them on house arrest and allegedly treated them like “prisoners.” He’s also accused of making them take part in raunchy adult videos without their consent and issuing threats if they didn’t comply with his demands.
