Rep. Brandon Gill is a gift to the comedy gods.
The young Texas conservative isn’t a gaffe machine. Nor does he give his political enemies plenty of fodder. His “Monkey Trick,” to paraphrase Dennis Miller, is exposing far-far Left officials on Capitol Hill.
He does it over and again, but the most recent examples may be him at his very best. Here, watch Gill dismantle a Smithsonian official over the institution’s deranged policies.

Need more reasons why Gill is perfect for late-night TV? He is polite, soft-spoken and gentle in his questioning. He also refuses to budge when he gets the first in a series of increasingly absurd answers.
He’s the proverbial dog with a bone.
And he wouldn’t make a half-bad Superman with his handsome mug. So, naturally, late-night comedians can’t get enough of him, right?
Of course they can.

Gill humiliates the Left. That means that no matter how droll or outrageous these clips prove, the Stewarts, Kleppers, Kimmels and Fallons of the world will keep on ignoring them.
They know that exposing the far-Left could be damaging to Democrats. Yes, these clips could make even progressive late-night watchers howl. Many will shake their heads at what’s seen on screen.
So, they never make it there.
It’s the same reason Jon Stewart tried to backpedal on the DSA insanity that’s sweeping the modern Democratic party this week.
Embarrassing barely describes this exchange:

“Gutfeld!” doesn’t ignore Gill. The Fox News program plays Gill clips as part of its panel presentation.
Good for them. Still, it’s up to social media influencers, YouTube content creators and others outside the Hollywood bubble to share Gill’s incredible question-and-answer sessions.
It’s yet another reason why late-night TV will go the way of the 8-track tape. Comedy comes a distant second for the biggest programs today.
Propaganda comes first. Always.
