Lmao: Gayle King Shoots Her Shot At Lenny Kravitz — Asks Him If He’s Dating Anyone: ‘Can I Beat Her A**?’
Gayle King is hot and ready for Lenny Kravitz! In a recent interview on “CBS Mornings,” the journalist and anchor could not hold back when expressing her admiration for the rock icon.
Curious to know his relationship status, King fearlessly jumped right into the question that was on everyone’s mind… especially hers: “Do you have a significant other in your life, and can I beat her ass if she is?” King jokingly said with a straight face. “Oops, did I say that out loud?” She added.
Taken aback by the candidness of the inquiry, he responded with a chuckle. The lighthearted exchange confined with King quickly clarifying that she is “nonviolent.” However, she went on to seek to uncover the truth about Kravitz’s love life. “But do you have a partner? Do you have love in your life?” she pressed. Kravitz, who is currently promoting his latest album, “Blue Electric Light,” went on to say that he is “just open” at the moment.
When asked if he’s actively seeking a partner, he confessed, “It’s hard not to look. When you desire something, you’re looking for it, but I find that when you don’t look is when you find it.”
Kravitz who was married to Lisa Bonet, mother of his daughter Zoë, from 1987 to 1993 acknowledged that we weren’t entirely ready for a relationship despite being in one. But today, “I can say that I’ve never felt how I feel now.”
In a serendipitous twist of fate, both King and Kravitz share the bond of divorce. King’s marriage to William Bumpus lasted from 1982 to 1993. Although Kravitz says he’s currently single, he was spotted with Mexican model Ana Paula Valle just last year.
