Although O.J. Simpson is no longer here, close sources to the former NFL star is speaking out to shut down rumors regarding his death.
In the wake of O.J. Simpson’s passing, rumors swirled about a potential “deathbed confession” regarding the infamous L.A. murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. However, sources close to the situation debunked these claims to @tmz_tv, labeling them as “totally false.”
Despite the intrigue surrounding the idea of a dramatic revelation in his final days, those who visited Simpson during his last week maintain that no such confession took place. The sources added, “Unless being thirsty and asking for water is a confession … or wanting to watch the golf tournament. Nothing about the LA thing came up or was even thought about,” the news site quotes.
While Simpson was famously acquitted in the criminal trial for the murders, he was later found liable in a civil suit. In a controversial move, he released a book titled “If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer” in 2007, but has never publicly admitted guilt.
