Caitlyn Jenner is keeping the same energy: The former reality star is responding to heavy criticism after sharing a jaw-dropping tweet amid news about O.J. Simpson’s passing.

As we previously reported, the Olympian tweeted Thursday morning, just hours after Simpson’s family announced he had died of cancer at the age of 76, ““Good Riddance #OJSimpson.”

In a new tweet Jenner said, “I know you all think it’s cute to compare a fatal car accident (with multiple vehicles involved) to a BRUTAL MURDER… But Remember… OJ said something to the effect of… I could kill her (Nicole) and get away with it bc I’m #OJSimpson.” Whew! Now, this reaction is not entirely surprising given Jenner’s history with Simpson.

In her 2017 memoir, “The Secrets of My Life,” she did not hold back in describing Simpson as “the most narcissistic, egocentric, neediest asshole in the world of sports.”

Despite Simpson’s acquittal in the criminal trial, Jenner has maintained her stance, citing DNA evidence and her firsthand experience of the trial due to her then-wife Kris Jenner’s close connection to the case.
