Vice President J.D. Vance is raising eyebrows with his comments about Jeffrey Epstein, stating how strange it is that the convicted pedophile was mingling with some of the wealthiest and most influential figures on the planet—a crew, he insists, that does not include his boss, President Donald Trump.
In a new appearance on “The View” Tuesday morning, Vance shared his thoughts on various Epstein conspiracy theories, weighing in on which ones he finds credible and which he dismisses. He pointed out Epstein’s connections to celebrities and power players, but emphasized that the narrative around Trump’s relationship with Epstein is being misrepresented. According to Vance, the two were once acquaintances, but their friendship went downhill over time.
He noted that Trump grew frustrated with persistent attempts by Democrats to associate him with Epstein, despite Trump’s claims that he kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago and even alerted law enforcement about him back in the day.
Vance referenced a call Trump made to local authorities around Epstein’s 2006 arrest, where he reportedly expressed relief that Epstein was being stopped, saying, “Thank goodness you’re stopping him, everyone has known he’s been doing this.” While Vance sees this statement as exonerating, it also reignited debates about what Trump knew regarding Epstein and when.
Vance insists that Trump has been an advocate for complete transparency concerning Epstein, despite the conflicting narratives out there. He even recalled the moment Trump approved the release of the Epstein Files. Essentially, Vance is all in for exploring the wild world of Epstein conspiracy theories—as long as folks keep his boss’s name out of the mix!
