Florida Man Sues After Allegedly Being Bit in the Face During Alligator Experience

A Florida man has filed a lawsuit after claiming he was bitten in the face by an alligator during a tourist attraction last summer. According to Click Orlando, Edil Kasenov was visiting Airboat Rides at Midway in June 2025 when the incident allegedly occurred. Kasenov said he participated in the business’s free “Alligator Experience” when he suffered a bite to the face.

Lawsuit Alleges Negligence

The lawsuit accuses the business of negligence and claims Kasenov suffered disfigurement and required hospitalization as a result of the attack. “There were no warnings, signs or other devices to warn or indicate the vicious nature of the subject alligator,” the complaint states.

“Additionally, there were no measures used by the defendant to restrain the alligator or otherwise protect.” Kasenov is seeking $50,000 in damages.

Case Pending

The lawsuit has been filed in court, and the case is pending. Officials from Airboat Rides at Midway have not publicly responded to the allegations in reports so far.

Alligator attractions are common in parts of Florida, often marketed as educational or interactive experiences.
