Offset Released From Hospital After Shooting And Breaks His Silence: “Life’s A Gamble And I’m Still Playing To Win”

Rapper Offset is finally back on his feet and letting folks know he’s good after a scary situation down in Hollywood, Florida earlier this week.

Word first broke that the 34-year-old artist was shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, sending fans into a panic. But now that he’s out the hospital, Offset is speaking for himself—and keeping it real about where his head is at.

“Thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me and showed me love! I’m good….but I’m planning to be better!” he shared in a statement on Friday, April 10. “I’m focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music…realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses….”

He added, “Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win.”

Authorities say the situation went down Monday night near the casino’s valet area. According to officials, the injuries weren’t life-threatening, and things were brought under control pretty quickly. Two people were detained, and police made it clear there’s no ongoing danger to the public while the investigation continues.

Meanwhile, things got a little messy online and in the media. Reports started flying that Lil Tjay was somehow tied to the situation. He was reportedly arrested and booked on a misdemeanor charge related to disorderly conduct after an alleged altercation before the shooting.

But his legal team came through quick to shut all that down.

“We are issuing this release in regards to false rumors that Lil Tjay was involved in a shooting which occurred at the Valet Area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood which [resulted] in non-life-threatening injuries to Offset, formerly a member of Migos,” attorney Dawn M. Florio wrote in an Instagram statement.

The message continued, “Lil Tjay has not been shot, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting. Any reporting to the contrary is false. We encourage people to consult trusted news sources, and to verify the accuracy of any reporting, before reflexively sharing or repeating baseless rumors.”

Still, despite the serious situation, Tjay had folks raising eyebrows after he appeared to troll Offset shortly after news of his release hit the internet.

For now though, Offset seems locked in on what really matters—healing up, staying close to his family, and getting back to doing what he does best. And if you know anything about him, you already know this moment is just another chapter, not the end of the story.
