Jeffrey Epstein’s Brother Hangs Up During Interview After Being Asked If Cares About The Victims

In the latest development surrounding the Epstein case, Mark Epstein abruptly ended a phone interview after being asked whether he cared about the victims connected to his brother.

The interview took place Monday with broadcaster Piers Morgan. During their conversation, Morgan asked, “But you care about the victims of your brother, I presume?” Epstein responded, “These are the questions I don’t get into. Have a good day,” before disconnecting the call.

The exchange came after Epstein reiterated his long-held belief that his brother, Jeffrey Epstein, did not die by suicide while in federal custody in 2019. At the time of his death, Jeffrey Epstein was awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. Authorities ruled his death a suicide.
However, Mark Epstein made clear during the interview that his primary focus remains on challenging that conclusion. “I’m just concerned that my brother — whoever and whatever he was — was murdered,” Mark Epstein stated. “That’s my concern.”

Interview Focuses on Death Investigation Rather Than Victims

The conversation between Mark Epstein and Piers Morgan centered largely on the circumstances surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s death. Throughout the interview, Mark maintained that he questions the official ruling.

However, when the discussion shifted toward the victims, the tone changed. Morgan’s question about whether he cared about the victims prompted the abrupt end to the interview. Epstein did not elaborate further on that topic.

Mark Epstein also noted that he did not have an especially close relationship with his brother. In addition, he expressed no interest in discussing recently released investigative documents tied to the case.

The renewed attention comes after the Department of Justice released another round of Epstein-related documents. According to Attorney General Pam Bondi, the DOJ complied with federal law and released “all” Epstein documents. This follows the publication of approximately 3.5 million pages at the end of January.

The document releases have sparked continued public debate. Some observers believe key details remain unclear, while others argue that the releases reinforce previously established findings. Nevertheless, official statements from federal authorities continue to stand by the original conclusions regarding Epstein’s death.

Mark Epstein has consistently stated that he believes his brother was murdered. However, investigators have not altered their findings.

Document Releases, Political Reactions, and Related Incidents

The interview also comes amid broader developments connected to the Epstein files.
Earlier this month, President Donald Trump stated that the released files “absolve” him of wrongdoing. The documents included references to a 2006 FBI memo in which Trump thanked Florida law enforcement for investigating Epstein and directed them to “focus” on what he described as the “evil” Ghislaine Maxwell.

Maxwell is currently serving a federal prison sentence following her conviction on sex trafficking charges related to Epstein.

The continued release of documents has fueled public conversation online and across political spaces. In some cases, reactions have escalated beyond debate.

According to reporting from TMZ, a 21-year-old man identified as Austin Tucker Martin breached the secure perimeter at Mar-a-Lago with a shotgun on Sunday. He was shot and killed by Secret Service agents. Reports state that Martin was allegedly “fixated” on the Epstein files and believed there was a “government cover-up.”

Authorities have not linked the incident to any official findings in the document releases. However, the situation reflects the heightened emotions and speculation that continue to surround the Epstein case years after his death.
