J.Lo’s mom is not just any mom… she’s a cool mom!
The 80-year-old proved just that during her daughter Jennifer Lopez’s Vegas concert on New Year’s Eve. Clips floating around online show Guadalupe Rodríguez popping out into the aisle and reminding us exactly where J.Lo gets her rhythm, confidence, and signature moves from.
One clip posted by @Oldiesvibesoffical shows Ms. Rodríguez going all the way in to J.Lo’s classic hit “Get Right,” hitting a few steps that looked very familiar before busting out a little cute booty shake of her own. Like mother, like daughter… literally.
Another video shared by @slayitlike_jlo_ shows Ms. Rodríguez from a different angle hitting the same moves, clearly feeling the music and enjoying herself. No hesitation. No stiffness. Just vibes.
J.Lo fans were definitely impressed but not surprised. Many pointed out that Lupe has always had that energy and clearly passed it right on down. Safe to say, the internet loved it and everyone is proud. Because if you’re going to turn up at your daughter’s Vegas show, this is exactly how you do it.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Lupe has shown she’s got that energy. Longtime J.Lo fans already know her mom has always been front and center, cheering her on and showing up with pride. This time, she just happened to steal a little spotlight of her own.
