Lawd! the feds just cracked open another box in the never-ending Jeffrey Epstein files, and what spilled out continues to be disturbing.
The Department of Justice released nearly 30,000 more pages tied to Epstein, and buried in the stack is an August 2019 letter allegedly written by Epstein himself…from one jailhouse predator to another. The recipient? Larry Nassar.
Yup, that Larry Nassar, the former USA Gymnastics doctor sentenced to life after being convicted of sexually assaulting hundreds of young female athletes. At the time, Nassar was locked away in the slammer in federal prison, while Epstein was sitting in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York, awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges involving minors.
That same month, Epstein would be found dead in his cell. Officials ruled it a “suicide.” But according to the newly released documents, Epstein allegedly wrote Nassar a letter that opens with this line: “We shared one thing … our love & caring for young ladies and the hope they’d reach their full potential. Our president also shares our love of young, nubile girls.”
The letter only gets more unhinged from there. Epstein reportedly continued:
“When a young beauty walked by he loved to ‘grab snatch,’ whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system. Life is unfair.” The letter is signed: “Yours J. Epstein.”
What The DOJ Is Saying:
Authorities say the letter eventually made its way back to the Metropolitan Correctional Center because Nassar had been transferred from a prison in Tucson, Arizona, to a facility in Florida.
Once the letter resurfaced, an FBI agent requested a handwriting analysis to determine whether Epstein actually wrote it. As of now, it’s unclear what the results of that analysis were.
The DOJ is also pushing back hard on some of the more explosive claims circulating in these newly released files, particularly those involving President Trump. In a statement, the department warned that some of the material is exaggerated or flat-out false.
Here’s what the DOJ said, word for word:
“The Department of Justice has officially released nearly 30,000 more pages of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.
Some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election. To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.
Nevertheless, out of our commitment to the law and transparency, the DOJ is releasing these documents with the legally required protections for Epstein’s victims.”
Bottom line: this latest Epstein Files drop doesn’t bring closure… it brings more questions, more disgust, and more proof of just how deep and ugly this story runs. And judging by the size of the release, this probably isn’t the last time Epstein’s name drags the headlines back into the gutter.
