Socialites, come get into this: the Aussie who rushed at Ariana Grande during the Wicked premiere in Singapore just got nine days in jail for his wild stunt…

As previously reported, Johnson Wen, 26, made headlines when he let his inner thoughts get the best of him. He leaped over a barricade at Resorts World Sentosa on November 13, running straight for Grande as she was walking the yellow carpet. In the clip he’s seen throwing his arm around her before he jumped up and down like it was some kind of fan dream come true. Only problem? Ariana was not feeling it, and neither were the security guards and co-star Cynthia Erivo, who quickly stepped in to yank him off her.

But here’s the thing: Wen, who’d been locked up since November 14, didn’t get a big, dramatic sentence. Instead, District Judge Christopher Goh hit him with basically a slap on the wrist… just nine days in jail. In court, Goh called Wen’s actions “attention-seeking” and made it clear that he thought he could get away with it in Singapore. But nah, the law doesn’t play like that. When pled guilty to public nuisance, admitting that he knew exactly what he was doing would piss people off.

No surprise there, considering he even posted about the whole thing on his Instagram that night, claiming he was “free” after his arrest and throwing up clips of the incident on TikTok, thanking Ariana.

Wen didn’t just come to Singapore to cause chaos, though. According to the court, he flew in on November 11, claiming it was for the premiere and a holiday. Before the event, he posted an Instagram story of himself laughing and saying, “That’s my best friend, Ariana Grande,” like he was already on a first-name basis.

So yeah, there he was, waiting for his moment to shine. And at 7:00 p.m. sharp on the night of the event, he jumped the barricade, ran straight for Ariana, and made his big move. But co-star Cynthia Erivo wasn’t having it, rushing over to break his hold on Ariana while security swiftly escorted him out.

Wen didn’t stop there, though he kept posting about the scene, even while he was behind bars. Real talk, his whole social media game is like a “look at me” show.

Interestingly enough, the dude has a history of disrupting high-profile events, including concerts by Katy Perry, The Weeknd, and The Chainsmokers.

Will nine days in the slammer be enough time for him to learn and stop his attention-seeking way? Guess only time will tell.
