Z’s Accuser Claims Private Investigators Misinterpreted Her Statements During Home Visit

Jay-Z’s Accuser Fights Back: “I Never Said That!”

Jay-Z’s accuser is firing back—loud and clear. The woman, referred to as Jane Doe, is speaking up after Jay-Z’s legal team dropped portions of a recorded convo between her and his private investigators. And she’s not holding back. She claims they didn’t just twist her words—they flat-out lied about what really went down during that surprise visit to her home in Alabama.

Woman Who Dropped Sexual Assault Lawsuit Against JAY-Z Defends Allegations, Now Alleges He’s Been Terrifying And Intimidating Her

According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, Doe says investigators Charlotte Henderson and James Butler pulled up unannounced, catching her completely off guard. “I was trembling the entire time we spoke,” she wrote in a fresh court filing. Yet, the investigators described her as being “calm, natural, and at ease.” She’s calling that out as straight cap.

What’s more, they claimed she retracted her rape allegations—saying she told them four separate times that Jay-Z wasn’t involved in the alleged 2000 rape following the VMAs in NYC. But Doe’s declaration reads: “I never stated (whether once or 4 times) that Mr. Carter did not assault me.”

Now that’s a whole different narrative from what Jay-Z’s team is pushing.

Dissecting the Recording: What Really Got Said?

Let’s keep it real. The only piece of that conversation that’s gone public so far is a clip where the investigator says, “Jay-Z didn’t commit any sexual acts towards you,” and Doe simply replies, “Yeah.”

But now, she’s putting that moment into context—implying it’s not the smoking gun his legal team claims it is. Doe says the clip doesn’t reflect the full story or her state of mind during the surprise visit.

There’s also this part about her attorney, Tony Buzbee. The investigators claim she said her lawyer “pushed her” into filing the lawsuit against Jay. But again, she’s calling that out as another lie. In her new filing, she states: “I never made any such statements to Henderson or any other person.”

Still, Henderson’s declaration quoted her saying, “He was the one that kind of pushed me towards going forward with him, with Jay-Z.” Not only is that a direct contradiction, but the same phrase allegedly appears in the recording too.
