Defense attorneys for Diddy dropped a new court filing on Tuesday, arguing that videos featuring the rapper, his ex Cassie Ventura, and some male escorts actually prove his innocence. They claim these clips showcase consensual sex between adults.
There are nine videos that prosecutors say Combs referred to as “freak offs,” which they describe as “elaborate and produced sex performances.” Right now, these videos are up for grabs for the defense to check out, and they’re pushing the judge to hand over electronic copies so they can dig in deeper. “Contrary to what the government has led this Court and the public to believe, the so-called ‘Freak Offs’ were private sexual activity between fully consenting adults in a long-term relationship,” defense attorneys Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos said.
“These videos unambiguously show that the person alleged in the indictment to be ‘Victim-1’ not only consented but thoroughly enjoyed herself,” the defense added. “At bottom, this case is about whether Victim-I was or was not a willing participant in her private sex life with oMr. Combs. The videos confirm that she plainly was,” the defense said.
As we previously reported, prosecutors argue that these “freak offs” are proof that Combs pressured, drugged, and even kidnapped women into sexual situations, bringing in prostitutes to take part as well.

Cassie Ventura has claimed in a civil suit that Combs would “regularly beat and kick” her, leaving her with black eyes, bruises, and blood. The lawsuit paints a picture of these “freak offs” as wild, drug-fueled sex marathons that Combs allegedly forced women into, all while filming it for his own kicks.
Combs, who got locked up in September on sex trafficking charges, is still behind bars at the federal Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after a judge shot down his bail request.
