There’s a new memoir that’s causing online commotion as it details security breaches committed by a Secret Service agent assigned to protect former President Barack Obama.
Koryeah Dwanyen’s “Undercover Heartbreak: a Memoir of Trust and Trauma” plunges deep into a series of alarming security lapses that put the very integrity of protective services under the microscope. In the book she recalls being invited to the Obamas’ beachfront property in Hawaii in 2022. The agent, who she refers to as “Dale,” repeatedly tried to impress her with his double life.
In one striking revelation, Koryeah recalls Dale trying to convince her to come after sending her photos of the property. He allegedly told her, “No one will know. If anything, I’m the one who could get in trouble.” But the real shocker comes when she shares his wild suggestion when they get inside: “We should have sex in Michelle [Obama]’s bathroom, like a mile-high club.”
So how did he get caught? Well Koryeah who also spoke with ABC News in a phone interview revealed she actually sent an email to his boss due to fears related to the agent’s safety and hers as well as her family’s.
“They realized that not only had ‘Dale’ shared photos of the Obamas’ house, but he had also brought me there,” Dwanyen wrote in the book. She “showed them photos on my phone to corroborate what I was saying,” scrolling through “pictures of Alicia Keys’ house, Steven Spielberg’s boats, Melinda Gates, Tyler Perry and Amal Clooney.”

She also recalled on agent telling her that Dale “overshared” with her. “I knew their code names. I knew what day Orange Theory was, what day [Michelle Obama] had private tennis lessons and when her personal trainer came,” Koryeah said. “Things that I should not have been privy to as a civilian.”
Interestingly enough, U.S. Secret Service chief of communications Anthony Guglielmi confirmed to ABC News that a similar incident to the one described in the memoir had actually taken place. It was also noted that the agent in question was fired from his position as a result…
“On Nov. 6, 2022, a Secret Service agent involved in protective functions brought an individual who did not have authorized access into a protectee’s residence without permission,” Guglielmi told the news outlet. “As soon as the Secret Service became aware of the incident, the agent involved was immediately suspended and after a full investigation, terminated.
He added, “Although the protectees were not present at the time of the incident, these actions were an unacceptable violation of our protocols, our protectees’ trust and everything we stand for.”
So far, reps for the Obamas have not commented on these reports.
As the memoir continues to gain traction, one thing is clear: Koryeah Dwanyen’s story is not just about her experiences—it’s a wake-up call to the institutions meant to safeguard our leaders.
Koryeah Dwanyen’s self-published was released on Oct. 28 and it looks like it’s going to continue making waves online.
