Chris Brown literally found himself in an unexpected twist during a recent concert at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ last night. The R&B star was in the middle of soaring through the air, supported by wires during his performance of “Under the Influence” when he encountered a technical glitch that left him suspended in mid-air.
In a video captured by The @hollywoodreporter, the star is seen gracefully gliding across the stage until he came to an abrupt halt. Despite the unexpected setback, Brown’s professionalism shone through as he continued to deliver his vocals unperturbed. However, his frustration with the situation became a little visible as he halted his performance, directing gestures towards the stage crew in an attempt to resolve the malfunction.
Displaying a mix of annoyance and determination, the 35-year-old was eventually brought down by the stage crew who intervened with a ladder to safely lower him back to solid ground. While the crowd erupted into cheers in support of the singer, Brown seemed annoyed but ultimately resumed his performance.
