Welp Elon Musk is currently neck and neck with Nick Cannon as the Tesla CEO has quietly welcomed his 12th child into the world. Yup, that’s right.
The news of Musk’s newest addition was confirmed by the man himself on June 23, following a report by Bloomberg Businessweek that the baby was born earlier this year.
Despite being the richest man in the world, Musk chose to keep this latest baby news private, stating that while it may not have been announced through a press release, it was far from a secret among their close friends and family. When asked about the details, Musk remained tight-lipped, declining to disclose the name or gender of the newborn.
Now, this is not the first time Musk has embarked on the journey of parenthood with his partner Shivon Zilis, who currently serves as the director of special projects at Neuralink, one of Musk’s ventures. Together, they are already proud parents to twins Strider and Azure, who were conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF) and are now two years old.

More On Musk’s Children:
In addition to his children with Zilis, Musk is also a father to three other children from his previous relationships. His ex-partner, the musician Grimes, gave birth to X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus, aged 4, 2, and 1 respectively. Prior to his relationship with Grimes, Musk had six children with his ex-wife Justine Wilson Musk.
Elon Musk previously explained his reason for having such a big family. He said at the time on X which he now owns — “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far.” His super father pal Nick Cannon also tweeted back to him saying, “Right there with you my Brother!”
