Welp, in recent news, Caitlyn Jenner’s Father’s Day post has sparked mixed reactions online. As we previously reported, the former athlete took to Instagram on Sunday to share old pictures of herself with her daughters, expressing her love for being a father. However, this gesture has raised questions and divided opinions.
As many are aware, Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, was married to Kris Jenner for 23 years and had two kids together, Kendall and Kylie Jenner. He played a significant role in the lives of Kris’s four children from her previous marriage: Khloe, Kourtney, Kim, and Rob Kardashian. He also had four kids from another marriage before Kris. Despite this, some people have questioned why Caitlyn is celebrating Father’s Day. However, in response to some of the criticism, Caitlyn defended herself by stating, “I celebrate mothers on Mother’s Day and fathers on Father’s Day. I am a father. Plain and simple.” Although she firmly believes that her transition should not diminish her role as a parent and that she should be able to celebrate this special day, some don’t agree with her like Charlamagne tha God.
During the latest episode of The Breakfast Club, the radio host weighed in on the matter with a different perspective. Charlamagne believes that Caitlyn Jenner cannot celebrate Father’s Day because she made a choice when she transitioned, and he believes she should stay on the side she chose. “You pick a side… stay there!” He said, adding “You can’t have it both ways now.” Here’s what else the radio hosts had to say:

In September 2015, Caitlyn’s name was legally changed to Caitlyn Marie Jenner, and her gender to female.
Jenner who had transitioned at the age of 65, spoke about what her experience was like especially being in the spotlight.
“It was so emotional,” Jenner, now 74, told PEOPLE in 2020. “There I was. Caitlyn Marie Jenner. But then, I wondered, did Bruce deserve to be thrown away like this? He did a lot of good things. He raised 10 kids. But I wasn’t turning around.” Jenner pauses. “Bruce did just about everything he can do. He raised 10 kids. Now what does Caitlyn do?”
Ultimately she said she’s happy with who she is. “This is my journey. Yes, it is different than other trans people. I get it,” she says. “But the bottom line is this: When I wake up in the morning, I’m happy with myself.”
