A 2016 surveillance video has emerged, showing CNN, Sean “Diddy” Combs engaged in a violent altercation with his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura… we have to warn you, the video that you’re about to see is disturbing and heartbreaking.
The footage, compiled from multiple camera angles, shows an incident that aligns with the allegations made by Ventura in a federal lawsuit filed in November, which has since been settled.
The incident captured in the video took place on March 5, 2016, at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles. The no-audio clip begins with Ventura exiting a hotel room and walking towards the elevators. Combs, wearing only a towel around his waist, chases after her down the hall. He then forcefully grabs her by the back of her neck, throwing her to the floor.
As he is still holding his towel with one hand, Combs proceeds to kick Ventura in the back. He grabs her purse and suitcase from the floor near the elevators, kicking Ventura again as she remains motionless on the ground. Moments later, her drags her by her sweatshirt towards a room before walking away.
As Ventura slowly stands up, she collects her belongings from the floor and reaches for a phone on the hallway wall near the elevators. However, Combs, returns to the scene. In a mirror reflection, he sits down on a chair, grabs an object from a table, and forcefully throws it towards Ventura. Finally, Combs walks away, but turns back towards Ventura when an elevator door opens and someone exits.
According to Ventura’s to initial complaint, the altercation occurred around March 2016, during a time when Combs was reportedly heavily “intoxicated.” The complaint alleges that Combs punched Ventura in the face, resulting in a black eye. It further states that when Ventura attempted to leave the hotel room while Combs was asleep, he woke up and followed her into the hallway and that’s when the assault happened. The complaint also revealed that Combs paid the InterContinental Century City $50,000 for the hallway security footage capturing the incident.
Ventura’s wide-ranging lawsuit against Combs also included various allegations, including claims of rape in 2018 and enduring years of repeated physical and other forms of abuse.

What Has Cassie Said Following The Release Of This Footage:
Ventura, who reached an undisclosed settlement with Combs, has chosen not to comment on the recently surfaced video. The two were in a tumultuous relationship between 2007 to 2018.
However, her attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, has released a statement to the outlet. It reads: “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
Meanwhile, reps for Combs who has previously denied Ventura’s allegations, has not yet commented in the latest news.
