North West is following in her father’s footsteps! This Wednesday morning, Kanye West surprised fans by dropping the official music video for his new song that features his daughter’s vocals.
As we previously reported, during Kanye West’s December listening party for his joint album Vultures with Ty Dolla $ign, North West made a memorable appearance. Taking the stage with confidence, she lip-synced her verse on the track titled “Talking / Once Again.” The lyrics she performed displayed her self-assured nature, with cute lines like “It’s your bestie Miss, Miss Westie.”
Last month, Kanye who’s been teasing his projects, took to Instagram to give fans a sneak peek of the music video for North’s feature on Vultures. The slideshow showcased a preliminary music video treatment, featuring images of cars, Malibu, athletes, religious symbolism, and vultures. In a follow-up video, North West herself shared her creative vision for the music video. Displaying an impressive level of confidence and creativity, she described her ideas for different scenes. Her vision included driving a Lamborghini to basketball practice, highlighting her independence and love for sports. At the time she said the video would also feature her friends wearing Vultures merchandise, with a vulture flying around them. North’s imagination extended to scenes at Nobu Malibu, where she would be seen dining, and even fighting off paparazzi. Welp, the video is out and we finally get to see what her creative little self has put together with her famous dad:

More On North West:
As exciting as this is for the 10 year old, Northy plans to do so much more like her parents.
In a 2023 cover-story for ID Magazine, she shared how she plans to follow in her parents’ footsteps and become a “business owner” — specifically, by one day owning her parents’ brands Yeezy and SKIMS.
She initially told the magazine, “A basketball player, a rapper, um…Well when I was 7 I wanted to be a boxer. But now I don’t want to be a boxer. I’m going to do art on the side.” She went on to say, “When I’m like, 13, I want to walk dogs, to make money to buy art supplies, because everything around here is so expensive. So a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell. Also, one day I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS, and I want to be a business owner,” the pre-teen adds of her mom and dad’s businesses.
Northy has her parents full support. In an old interview with ABC News, Kanye told his eldest daughter not to let others “take over” the family businesses and to protect her younger siblings.
“I’m literally saying this to her because I realize she’s one of the people in the family that will make sure that no one ever takes our company, no one ever takes what me and Kim have built with both of our brands and the brands that we’re building now,” Ye said.
Kanye’s new album with Ty Dolla $ign is set to drop February 9.
