If you’re an active follower of Floyd Mayweather then you probably came across a few random posts where he mentions a guy named Joseph Englanoff. You’re probably wondering who is this guy and why Floyd wants us to know him.
Mr. Englanoff is known as a Los Angeles-based Emergency Room doctor. He’s also a real estate developer who doesn’t seem to have a good reputation in the industry. A couple of months ago, a YouTuber named Spencer Cornelia created a 10-minute-long video unpacking all the allied controversy surrounding him. It included several lawsuits as well as allegations of him being a phony businessman who plays with people and their money! So what’s Floyd’s problem? Well, interestingly enough, the video mentions the boxing champ and a lawsuit that was filed against him and his business partner, Al Haymon.
Floyd, who wants us to know he has an issue with Englanoff, posted a link to an article this Wednesday that included Cornelia’s YouTube video. Floyd directed his fans to check it out so they could learn more about Englanoff’s alleged ticket-investment scheme for the Floyd Mayweather – Logan Paul fight, why his property at 1200 Bel Air Road hasn’t sold, and why Englanoff’s close family and friends have alleged horrible business experiences with him.
More On Englanoff’s Case With Floyd Mayweather
To keep you up to speed, Englanoff and Mayweather crossed paths a few times. At one point, Mayweather was even considering buying one of the houses in Bel Air, adding one more property to his amazing collection. However, things took a bad turn when Englanoff filed a lawsuit against him and alleged that Mayweather seemingly lured him into investing in the tickets for an exhibition match between Mayweather Jr. and Logan Paul at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. His company, Yogi Securities Holdings LLC sued Mayweather for the alleged fraud of $5.856 million.
Whether or not you believe Floyd is responsible in that case, the YouTube video about Englanoff raises questions about his credibility and the possibility of clout chasing.
