One thing about Keke Palmer she’s always going to keep it 100 with her fans!
The new mom has previously credited her baby boy Leodis Jackson for giving her a snatched new body but she doesn’t want people to start comparing theirs to hers and here’s why.
During Tuesday, August 1, episode of her “Baby, This is Keke Palmer” podcast, the honest actress explained, “It is my job. Let’s not get crazy — I don’t want people thinking that I am setting unrealistic standards. I can afford a trainer, meal prep and a lot of things,” the 29-year-old said while breaking it down. “It is expensive but I am investing in my career because it is my career to look good. Not even is it my career to look good, it is my career choice to have the kind of career that I want to have.”
Palmer continued saying, “I never want to put it on anybody,” she shared. “I always want to make it clear that when I am talking about fitness, health, and wellness is that, ‘Your journey is your journey. You figure it out the way you can.’ And when you look at these celebrities and people in the industry, know that it is their job.”

More On Keke Palmer
The entertainer welcomed her very first child in February with boyfriend Darius Jackson. Previously, she celebrated her amazing postpartum body and thanked her son for giving her a more curvy shape. In a video post shared to Instagram, the actor wrote: “Hips? NEVER HAD EM! Boobs? Never had em! Booty? BARELY. Thanks son.?
While speaking with The Cut earlier this year Keke Palmer opened up even more about her love for her new body after giving birth.
She told the magazine in a cover story, “After having my baby, I’ve gotten so much more powerful. We’re going to lean into this new body, and I think that is the whole aura of what’s happening with me in this big boss era as I come into my 30s, and I have my baby boy, and I’m just continuing to spread my wings as a young woman.”
Speaking more as a realistic mom, Keke said during her interview, “My headspace is just to continue to inspire and encourage myself and anybody else who wants to go down that road with me. Because we’re growing and we are changing. It’s all about loving who I am and loving what I experienced and what I’ve gone through that’s gotten me here. A lot of gratitude for me.”
