Dang! Donald Trump is turning his viral and historic Georgia mugshot moment into some serious cash as the Trump campaign raises over $7.1 million from his history-making Georgia booking.

After former President Trump sent a motorcade through the trenches of Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday (August 24) — where he would turn himself in, be fingerprinted and have his mugshot taken at the Fulton County Jail on RICO charges — his viral mug has now led to millions of dollars in campaign funds.

Despite facing four indictments, with his latest one in Georgia accusing him of election fraud, Trump is still a frontrunner in the 2024 Republican primary race. As Trump tries to gain a second term as the leader of the free world, his campaign has raised $4.18 million in less than 24 hours after having his Georgia mugshot taken.

On just Friday (August 25) alone, he raised over $4 million of the $7 million running total, which marks the highest-grossing day of his entire campaign, per a Trump spokesperson. In the last three weeks, the campaign raised nearly $20 million.

It is reported that the $20 million figure is more than half of what Trump raised during his first seven months in the 2024 race. Trump has literally trumped his triumph while parlaying his federal indictments into campaign funds.

It’s also said that all of that money raised stems from two separate indictments over Trump trying to allegedly overturn the 2020 election results, and also from charges related to his role in the January 6 Capitol riot. The latter is from an indictment issues in early August.

Ever since having his mugshot taken, Trump’s campaign website has been fishing for online donors with emails and text messages; and even through the site’s landing page, which at one point included Trump’s historic FulCo Jail photo. Along with it, Trump asks his supporters to “make a contribution to evict Crooked Joe Biden from the White House and SAVE AMERICA during this dark chapter in our nation’s history.”

Aside from Trump turning his mugshot into cash, it is also reported that private and non-political organizations have also been attempting to monetize off of his Georgia booking photo. Reportedly, prominent sports and pop culture outlet Barstool Sports, has been selling their own Trump mugshot t-shirts for $32.
