Adriana Martinez Reyez,40, was charged with assault, battery, and threatening an act of violence following an incident on Wednesday. According to the Daily Mail, police responded to a call around 10 am about Reyes threatening to kill her boyfriend at their home. During her arrest, she reportedly told officers that her son, Salvador Ramos, was ‘the one who that killed all of the children in the Uvalde Texas shooting.’

Reyes’ boyfriend later informed officers that she became angry with him and said she was planning to move out because she was going to ‘kill him.’ He also explained that he believes Reyes will ‘kill him while he sleeps and he is terrified of her.’ The incident occurred a few days after New Year’s Day when police arrived at the same address over a call regarding a domestic violence incident.

Reyes was held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a $1,000 bond.

Social media reacts to Reyes’s arrest and says her action are not too far from her son’s horrific crime.

After news of her arrest went viral, social media users reacted to her arrest and said they weren’t surprised by her actions. One user wrote, “The whole family is Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.”

Reyes previously spoke about her son’s horrific actions in the aftermath of the May 24th, 2022 shooting. She claimed her son had his ‘reasons’ for killing 19 elementary school students and two teachers.

‘I have no words. I have no words to say. I don’t know what he was thinking.  He had his reasons for doing what he did and please don’t judge him.. I only want the innocent children who died to forgive me. Forgive me, forgive my son. I know he had his reasons’, she told CNN.

Ramos reportedly had a strained relationship with his mother and he lived with his grandmother Celia Martinez Gonzalez. Gonzalez was his first victim and he shot her in the face before stealing her vehicle to drive to Uvalde Elementary School. The shooting occurred after Gonzalez and Ramos argued about why he didn’t graduate high school.
