‘BMF’ Star Lil Meech Off The Hook In Gun Case

Welp, Lil Meech got one less thing to worry about now that he’s off the hook in his gun case .

As it was previously reported, the actor was arrested back in December at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport after it was discoverd that he had a 9MM in a carry-on bag. It was found by TSA Agents who put his luggage through the security scanner. While they assumed it was his, turned out it was just a big mix-up…

Per TMZ, the gun in his bag actually belonged to his bodyguard. However, at the time of Meech’s arrest, the guard mentioned to cops that it was his weapon but he was ignored and Meech was detained… while cop accused him of carrying an illegal firearm.

Meech claimed he was innocent at the time but people initially didn’t believe him especially since he was arrested in Miami earlier that year for allegedly stealing a $250K Richard Millie watch. Meech’s Black Mafia Family cast reportedly bailed him out… that case was also dismissed. POWER star 50 Cent trolled the young star over the gun incident saying, “What the fvck ! LIL Meech didn’t hear them say cut.”

Well-respected attorney, Bradford Cohen, told the outlet he got the case dropped after presenting indisputable evidence to Broward County prosecutors that proved the bodyguard owned the pistol. The evidence included the purchase receipt, gun case and permit for the firearm, TMZ notes.

Cohen also explained to prosecutors that Meech and the bodyguard share the same taste when it comes to their luggage style. Long story short, they came to the conclusion that Meech simply picked up the bodyguard’s carry-on by accident…while they were rushing to catch a flight. Meech’s actual bag was accidentally left behind.

In a statement, Broward County State Attorney’s Office confirmed that prosecutors declined to file a misdemeanor charge against Meech “because of the facts and evidence available in the case and the statements made by [Lil Meech] and his employee.”

Lil Meech has yet to comment on this latest update in his gun case. Until then, let us know your thoughts on this in the comment box below!
