Charles Amicangel was attempting to deliver a package earlier this week when the ground collapsed beneath him and he landed in a sewage pile. Amicangel called for help immediately after the fall, but had to wait hours for help to arrive. “I’m knee-deep in sludge – p*** and s***. “I don’t want to die in somebody’s whatever you call it,” he says in the video.

Amicangel had to make 100 more deliveries on top of the crappy situation, and the accident messed up his schedule. After several hours, the local fire department dispatched a helicopter to drop a ladder so he could get out of the septic tank. He continued to finish his route after going home to shower, but viewers were not pleased.

One user on Twitter commented on the situation and said Amicangel was scared of losing his job due to the incident and finished the route in a follow up video.

“This Amazon worker fell into a septic tank (ground collapsed) & after he was rescued from this very dangerous & sh*tty thing, he finished his route. Americans have a problem. Cause wtf u mean u went back to work? I’m off for the next week at least for emotional & physical damage.”

“You should’ve told them no & gone straight to the hospital for bloodwork, X-rays,examination, & possible antibiotics! How dare they expect you 2work”

“You’re way nicer than me, I’d have said hell no, are you kidding?? And everyone else is right, PLEASE seek legal assistance ASAP. And medical.”

the Amazon worker was also advised to seek legal representation since the incident occurred at the customer’s home.

“Contact the homeowners. Their insurance should cover your accident. Make an appointment with a doctor, too. A dose of penicillin might be in order.”

However, he didn’t say if he decided to seek legal or medication attention after finishing up his delivery route.
