Home footage shows the wild moment a raccoon attacks a little girl and a mother jumps in to save her!
According to @Fox61, the incident happened on Friday morning at around 7:45 am. In the clip, the raccoon could be seen running up to the girl and onto her little leg. She’s heard screaming as she tries to shake the wild animal off but doesn’t become successful.
That’s when the mother sprints into action. She runs outside and grabs the raccoon by the neck. She then yells to her daughter, “Go inside, go inside!” with one hand and the raccoon in another. She then tosses the raccoon into the front yard and goes back inside the house. The mother shared the crazy video to Facebook later that morning, saying her child wanted to “show everyone what the raccoon did.”

Rylee MacNamara told local news outlets that she and her mother suffered some bite marks and scratches before her mother was able to yank the animal off her hand. “I was going out to get on the bus and a racoon was there and tried to attack me,” said the 5-year-old. “It didn’t want to go off of my leg.” Following their intense morning, the two went to a local hospital to receive rabies shots, and were back home in a couple of hours.

Rabies is a deadly virus that is spread to people from the saliva of infected animals. Sometimes symptoms can include fever, headache, excess salivation, muscle spasms, paralysis, and mental confusion.
