Nikita Dragun has started quite the debate on Twitter after a video clip of her asking a judge whether she would have to stay in the men’s unit following her arrest has gone viral. As we previously reported, Nikita was staying at The Goodtime Hotel where she had caused a disturbance on Monday “for a long period of time” and allegedly walked around the pool area naked, per the police report.
She was also accused of throwing water on an employee when they attempted to put some clothes over her, before allegedly tossing a bottle at him and a responding officer after cops were called to the scene, leading to her arrest. Now, however, Nikita, who is a transgender woman, is going viral yet again as a video clip of her talking to a judge about potentially being moved to a women’s unit has left some people in shock.

On Twitter, in particular, social media users wasted no time reacting to the news of her request, with some saying that though they weren’t fans of the controversial socialite, it was somewhat irresponsible for her to be put in the men’s unit when she clearly doesn’t identify as male. “Don’t get me wrong, i really don’t like nikita but forcing her to stay in the men’s unit ??? what the actual f***,” one person wrote.
Another user followed with a similar tweet, writing, “I am absolutely not a fan of Nikita Dragun but there is no reason she should have to stay in a men’s unit at jail. We have GOT to have better accommodations for transgender people. & that’s all imma say on that. & not bc she’s a celebrity. for ALL trans people. end of story.”
Another social media user followed suit with the same thoughts, denouncing Nikita being placed in a men’s unit, which they described as an “unsafe environment” for her. “I’m not the biggest fan of nikita dragun however her being put in the MENS unit in the prison when she is a woman is completely out of control,” they wrote.

Prior to her arrest for disturbance and walking around the pool naked, police showed up to her hotel room where they heard loud music playing. The security guard, who tried to throw some clothes over her had shown up to her door with cops in tow, and when she answered, she allegedly told the employee, “Do you want more?”
