Akon recently stopped by the @morninghustleshow show to talk about his new single, “Enjoy that.” While there, he also talked about turning down Real Housewives Of Atlanta and even shared his thoughts on a few trending topics like monogamy and Nick Cannon welcoming his 10th child.
As we previously reported, the “Masked Singer” host announced last week that he and Brittany Bell have welcomed their third child together, a son named Rise Messiah Cannon. The new baby made a total of 10 kids for Cannon. “Another Blessing!!! As my journey on this planet becomes more and more remarkable and unfathomable, all I can do is thank God and continue to ask the Most High to order my steps. He has given me stewardship and dominion over a family dynamic that to some is unimaginable,” Cannon wrote on Instagram at the time.
Of course, social media users had a lot to say about his announcement, good and bad but Akon sees no problem with Cannon sharing his seeds… at all. While speaking with @starringlore and @headkrack, the singer said Nick is an “amazing man… he does for all of them. Not only [does] he take care of them but he takes care of his kids, take care of their families. They’re all happy. So it’s like, what is the problem?”

More On Nick Cannon Being A Super Father
Earlier this month, the actor also welcomed his ninth child, a daughter Onyx Ice Cole Cannon, his daughter with model LaNisha Cole. He shares fraternal twins Moroccan and Monroe with his ex-wife, singer Mariah Carey, and also had son Golden and daughter Powerful Queen with Bell. In addition to that, he had twin sons Zion and Zillion with DJ Abby De La Rosa. His son named Zen, whom he shared with model Alyssa Scott, died from brain cancer last year at the age of five months.
Last year, Nick Cannon talked about fatherhood and explained why he enjoys having so many kids:
“The beauty of fatherhood, man,” began Nick, who shared that he wants between 10 and 12 children altogether. “When you really talk about the essence of living in…as a father, too. I’ve learned so much just from my children and it’s so amazing. And I really just love being around my kids and just that youthful energy. Like you get to relive every time.” Nick Cannon continued: “And I think because I’ve been through so much in my life: physically, mentally and spiritually. The best place that I find is the time that I spend with my kids, and the energy and to get as much as that as possible. To pass on all that I’ve lived into something else. That’s why I do it, man.”
Back in June, Cannon also teased having way more kids. He said at the time: “Let’s put it this way…. the stork is on the way,” the 41-year-old father of seven revealed on Tuesday’s episode of the “Lip Service” podcast.
