IU Joins Gucci’s Global Ambassadors Family

IU has become the 4^th Korean celebrity to join Gucci’s global ambassador family.

The happy news was shared on May 29 local time. Gucci’s official Instagram account shared a picture of IU at the Cannes Film Festival and announced she’s now a global ambassador.

IU has been promoting the brand since 2020 but in a statement to the press, a representative of the brand refused to comment on when she exactly joined due to ‘competition with another brand.’

IU joins EXO Kai, Lee Jung Jae and Shin Min Ah who were previously named as Gucci’s global ambassadors.
