Lil Tjay Says He Feels Bad For Offset After Casino Incident: “Come Give Him A Hug”

Lil Tjay appeared on The Breakfast Club this morning to promote his new album, They Just Ain’t You. While there, he naturally addressed the recent chaos involving fellow rapper Offset.

As previously reported, the Migos rapper was involved in a shooting at a Florida casino back in April. At the time, false reports circulated claiming Lil Tjay was the gunman. However, the New York rap star was actually involved in a physical altercation earlier that day; he was later arrested for disorderly conduct and driving without a valid license before bonding out that same evening.

While speaking to the hosts, Lil Tjay was asked if any of his “beefs” are so serious they’ve reached a point of no return. He replied that they aren’t. When specifically asked about Offset, Tjay admitted he actually feels bad for the rapper, who is rumored to struggle with a significant gambling problem. “I would give him a hug,” Tjay remarked, pivoting from his previous stance. Here’s what else he had to say about that chaotic day:

More On The Incident

On April 6, Offset was shot in the leg during an attempted robbery by a group of individuals outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. While he was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, he was released a few days later and has already returned to the stage. The FBI is currently investigating, and the suspects remain at large.

While Lil Tjay was arrested for disorderly conduct during the initial scuffle, authorities confirmed he was not charged in connection with the shooting itself. This change of heart from Tjay is a sharp turn from his initial reaction, as he had been trolling Offset over the incident up until now.
