From Reality TV to Real Justice: Kim Kardashian Says She’s Ready to Trade “Kim K” for Courtroom Chic
Kim Kardashian is ready to swap the red carpet for a courtroom and she’s dead serious about it. After years of grinding behind the scenes, the reality TV mogul and entrepreneur revealed she’s just two weeks away from officially becoming a qualified lawyer.
On BBC’s The Graham Norton Show, Kim dropped the news with that calm confidence only she could pull off.
“I have a few projects coming up—I film my first movie in January, and we are hoping for a season 2 of All’s Fair,” she said, People quotes. “I always want to be growing, curious and evolving, and I want to see wherever that takes me.”
She then went on to reveal,
“I will be qualified in two weeks. I hope to practice law. Maybe in 10 years, I think I’ll give up being Kim K and be a trial lawyer. That’s what I really want.”

Now give up being the iconic Kim K sounds a little crazy. That’s like Beyoncé saying she’s taking a break from performing. But knowing Kim, she means it. Over the past few years, she’s quietly been putting in serious work toward this goal, and not just for the cameras.
As previously reported, Kim officially graduated from law school in May, and her mentor Jessica Jackson couldn’t stop giving her flowers for her hustle. “Over the course of this program, Kim has dedicated 18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year for six straight years,”Jackson said.
“That’s a total of 5,184 hours of legal study that’s time she carved out while raising four children, running businesses, filming television shows and showing up in courtrooms to advocate for others.”
Definitely next-level determination.
Kim’s journey into law started as a passion project after she got involved in criminal justice reform. But somewhere between freeing folks and filming The Kardashians, she found a calling that’s bigger than fame.
Kim is following in her late father, Robert Kardashians Sr.’s footsteps, and fans couldn’t be more proud of her!
