Hol’ Up Now! Powerball winner reveals she used ChatGPT to generate winning numbers!

Listen, if you thought artificial intelligence was just for writing term papers, crafting resumes, or pretending to be your ex in a text thread… think again. Tammy Carvey, a 45-year-old Michigan woman, just flipped the script on lottery luck using none other than ChatGPT to pick her Powerball numbers. And sis walked away with a cool $100,000! Yes. You read that right.

“I asked ChatGPT for a set of Powerball numbers and those are the numbers I played,” Carvey told Michigan Lottery officials after pulling up to claim her prize like it was payday at the plant.

So how exactly did this happen? Well, according to her, it was early September and the Powerball jackpot was giving “run to the gas station now” energy… sitting at a face-melting $1.787 billion, the second-highest in history. That’s when Tammy, who only plays when the bag gets outrageous, decided to test her luck while using ChatGPT.

The machine spit out some digits. Tammy plugged ‘em in. And boom! four white balls and the red Powerball hit. That’s normally a $50K win, but this ain’t your average lottery story. Because Ms. Carvey had the presence of mind to throw the Power Play feature on that ticket — which straight doubled her bag to $100,000.

“Google told me it was a $50,000 prize, so that’s what I thought I’d won,” she said. “It wasn’t until I logged into my Michigan Lottery account that I realized I added the Power Play to my ticket and actually won $100,000! My husband and I were in total disbelief.”

And now that the money’s hit? Carvey says the plan is simple: pay off the house, and stack the rest. Responsible queen energy.

Now before you go trying to get rich with robot-generated numbers, the Michigan Lottery had to throw a little ice water on the hype, stating that “the results of all Lottery drawings are random and cannot be predicted by utilizing artificial intelligence or other number generating tools.”
Translation: don’t sue ChatGPT if your ticket flops, okay?

Still, the whole city of Wyandotte probably looking at their laptops sideways right now, asking, “So you tryna manifest a few numbers, or nah?”

All we know is Tammy and her tech-savvy lotto strategy got the last laugh — and a hundred thousand reasons to believe AI ain’t so artificial after all.
