Welp, here we go again. Donald Trump is back on his election rant, and this time he’s saying he’s about to wipe out mail-in ballots before the 2026 midterms.
In true Trump fashion, he hopped on his soapbox to claim America’s whole voting system is rigged — blasting mail-in ballots and voting machines as nothing but scams.

Trump declared:
“I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, and also, while we’re at it, Highly ‘Inaccurate,’ Very Expensive, and Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES…”
He’s basically saying Democrats can’t win a fair fight and only survive off “woke policies” and this “mail-in ballot scam.”
Trump’s Wild Claims About Fraud And “Woke America”
Trump went off in a full-blown rant, calling out voting machines as ‘a total disaster’ and mail-in ballots as a straight-up hoax. According to him, America is the only country dumb enough to still use them because “other nations gave them up after massive fraud.”
And you know Trump wasn’t stopping there — he slid culture wars right into the convo, blasting Democrats for pushing “open borders,” “men in women’s sports,” and “woke for everybody.”
“ELECTIONS CAN NEVER BE HONEST WITH MAIL IN BALLOTS/VOTING, and everybody, IN PARTICULAR THE DEMOCRATS, KNOWS THIS,” Trump shouted.
Whether you agree with him or not, he’s making it clear: if it’s up to him, mail-in ballots and those machines are DONE.
Executive Order On Deck?
Trump says he’s not just talking — he’s about to move. He’s promising to sign an executive order banning mail-in ballots and voting machines, forcing the country to switch to paper ballots with watermarks that he says can’t be faked.
He even claimed states don’t really run elections, calling them “agents of the federal government” who gotta follow the president’s orders.
“They must do what the Federal Government, as represented by the President of the United States, tells them…” he said.
This ain’t just talk — if Trump actually tries this, it would change how millions of people vote in the midterms. Mail-in ballots blew up during the pandemic and are still used heavy by seniors, people with disabilities, and military members overseas.
Taking them away? That would leave a whole lot of folks scrambling — and probably kick off a flood of lawsuits before the 2026 races even start.
