GloRilla is finally speaking out after her recent arrest in Georgia, revealing that the real story involves a home invasion while she was out of town performing.
According to a previous HU report, GloRilla was arrested in Forsyth County earlier this week and charged with possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and possession of marijuana over one ounce—both felonies under Georgia law. She posted a $22,000 bond and was out the same day. But now we know why the arrest went down…

Taking to her Instagram Story, Glo dropped a bombshell, revealing that her home was actually broken into while she was performing in Indianapolis for the WNBA All-Star Weekend. Instead of treating her like the victim, she claims police locked her up over some weed.

“CRAZY!! My house got home invaded Saturday while I was in Indianapolis performing for the WNBA All-Star Game & instead of focusing on finding the suspects, they focus on some cannabis,” she wrote.
“So no I wasn’t busted. My house got robbed. I wasn’t home. Long story short, my house gets home invaded and I’m the only one that gets arrested. So that’s tea.”
Her Lawyers Are Going Off: “She’s a Victim, Not a Suspect”
Attorneys Marissa Goldberg and Drew Findling of The Findling Law Firm are riding hard for Glo and blasted law enforcement’s handling of the situation in a statement to TMZ.
“The arrest of Gloria Woods is a disturbing window into how warped law enforcement priorities have become,” they began.
“Ms. Woods was out of town when her residence became a target for a group of home invaders who most likely knew she wasn’t there.”
They say the intruders grabbed high-value jewelry and fled after realizing her family was still in the house—and those family members were traumatized. When they did the right thing and called the police, the response was shocking.
“Instead of investigating the violent home invasion and theft, law enforcement sought a search warrant when they spotted what they believed was a small amount of marijuana,” they continued.
“They then sought arrest warrants for her even though she hadn’t been home for some time. No arrest warrants have been issued for the violent home invaders.”
“Ms. Woods is a victim, not a suspect. This is our tax dollars at work. Absolutely unbelievable.”
Not Her First Run-In With Georgia Law
This arrest marks GloRilla’s second in Georgia within the past year. As HU previously reported, she was hit with DUI charges in April 2024 after police claimed she made an illegal U-turn at a red light. Officers pulled the car over, ran field sobriety tests, and ended up taking her in.
