When it comes to Beyoncé, she’s always breaking records and making history! The music legend now holds the title of the most RIAA-certified female artist of all time, boasting an impressive 103 certified titles across her discography. That’s right!
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced the big news this Tuesday morning. “We are so excited to recognize the incredible talent, hard work, and creative spirit reflected across diverse genres,” said RIAA President & COO Michele Ballantyne.
“Beyoncé’s iconic catalogue has earned the achievement of most certified titles for a female artist in RIAA’s history. Congratulations on this crowning milestone, Beyoncé, Parkwood Entertainment, Columbia Records — and we see you, BeyHive, streaming on repeat!”
The decorated artist has dozens of other accolades that complement her latest achievement, including a 2x Platinum certification for her Billboard Hot 100 topper “Texas Hold ‘Em” and Platinum honors for her Billboard 200 No. 1 album, Cowboy Carter. Additionally, her album “16 Carriages” has gone Gold, while her 2022 release, Renaissance, has achieved 2x Platinum status.
Beyoncé’s RIAA achievement also comes on the heels of her earning a total of 11 new Grammy nominations, more than any other artist this year. She already holds the record for the most Grammy Awards, with 32 wins to her name.
Clearly, Beyoncé is ending the year with a bang and will undoubtedly kick off the new year on the same high note. As previously reported, Bey is set to headline the NFL Halftime Show during the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game on Christmas Day, which will stream live on Netflix.
Adding to the special day, Mariah Carey will kick off the Christmas Day games with a taped performance of her record-breaking hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” for the first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday live on Netflix on December 25.
