For 30 days, throughout November 2024, Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 subathon saw the Twitch star stream 24/7 for the entire month. During his subathon, he featured several other content creators, friends, and celebrities, like TikTok star Malik “NPC Miles Morales” and celebrity appearances such as hip-hop stars like Kevin Hart, Druski, Sexyy Red, Chris Brown, SZA, Lizzo, Kodak Black, Lil Uzi Vert, Kyrie Irving, Snoop Dogg, and many more.
Ending his 30-day Mafiathon 2 subathon, Kai Cenat got emotional surrounded by his friends and family, many of whom are rising content creators themselves. With less than 28 minutes left of his 30-day stream, Kai Cenat got choked up, became at a loss for words, and started to cry as his friends told him it was okay to let it out because he deserved it.
He continued to gather himself and gave an emotional and inspiring speech about his role in life, what he’s accomplished over the last 30 days, and much more. When the countdown ended, Cenat got hype again as he watched the subscriber count hit over 727,000 streams.
Seconds before he cut the stream, Cenat told his chat, “I love you guys. I’ll see you guys, bro.” He then threw up a heart with his hands, adding, “I love you so much.” The New York-born streamer, who now lives in Atlanta, Georgia but took shelter in Los Angeles for his subathon, added, “I’m out. I’m flying back home. Be safe. Be kind. And I’mma see y’all next stream.”
Before switching the screen to an end credits-like screen, showing an outro to his Mafiathon 2, Kai Cenat’s screen showed him inching towards 728,000 subscribers, with 727,692 subs. By the end of the entire stream, it was reported that he indeed hit over 728,000 subs (728,447+), officially breaking Twitch’s record by more than double. Before his Mafiathon 2 subathon started, Kai Cenat initially predicted that he would only get 400,000 subs from the subathon.
