Paris Jackson is sharing some exciting news! The daughter of the late music icon Michael Jackson is about to become a wife!
The 26-year-old model announced her engagement to her bandmate Justin Long in a sweet birthday message to her partner. “Happy birthday my sweet blue,” she began her Instagram post on December 6. “Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind, and I couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with.” She added, “Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.”
But that wasn’t all. Paris also included images from the sweet proposal. Justin is seen on one knee, gazing at Paris while popping the question with a solitaire diamond ring. Filled with awe, Paris drops to her own knees to seal her “yes” with a sweet kiss. Paris and Justin have reportedly been together since June 2022, and now they plan to lock in their love forever.

Paris is the only daughter of Michael, the King of Pop, who passed away in 2009 at the age of 50. He is also the father of sons Prince, 27, and Bigi, 22.
Although he died when she was just 11 years old, she has consistently shared what he meant to her in past interviews.
“They always say, ‘Time heals.’ But it really doesn’t. You just get used to it,” Paris told Rolling Stone in 2017 while discussing her father’s death. “I live life with the mentality of ‘OK, I lost the only thing that has ever been important to me.’ So going forward, anything bad that happens can’t be nearly as bad as what happened before. So I can handle it.” She added at the time, “I feel him with me all the time.”
In 2023, Paris Jackson also shared an important message for Michael Jackson fans on what would have been her dad’s 65th birthday. “So, today’s my dad’s birthday,” she began. “And back when he was alive, he used to hate anybody acknowledging his birthday, wishing him a happy birthday, celebrating it—nothing like that. He actually didn’t want us to even know when his birthday was, because he didn’t want us to throw a party or anything like that.”
“That being said, social media is apparently how people express their love and affection these days, and if you don’t wish someone a happy birthday via social media, it apparently means that you don’t love them, you don’t care about them. They’re basically measuring my love for my own father based off of what I post on Instagram,” she said. “So, I made you guys a little video, and I hope you enjoy it.”
The singer went on to express that her father put “50 years of blood, sweat, and tears and love and passion into doing what he did so that I can stand up here onstage in front of you and scream into a microphone.” She concluded, “So, I owe everything to him.”
