On Monday, we witnessed proud parents Beyoncé and Jay-Z cheering on their daughter Blue Ivy at the premiere of “Mufasa: The Lion King” and now Beyoncé is sharing even more just how happy she is for her sweet baby girl.
In exclusive behind-the-scenes clips of the film, which hits theaters on Friday, December 20, Beyoncé and Blue give us a glimpse into their voiceover sessions, where they both take a moment to express their joy in working on this film together. Blue Ivy, 12, voices the lioness cub Kiara, while Beyoncé, 43, lends her voice again to the lioness Nala. This animated adventure serves as a sequel to the 2019 live-action adaptation of The Lion King.
The sweet and emotional mom reveals, “Seeing Blue as Kiara and hearing her voice come out of that character… give me a second cause I just can’t believe that’s my baby,” Bey says while wiping away tears. She adds, “It was really hard to focus and do my job after that. I’m just so proud of her.”

Beyoncé of course couldn’t stop gushing about her talented daughter, and who could blame her? Check out the heartwarming video here:

Who’s cutting onions!?
The behind-the-scenes footage comes just a day after Beyoncé and Jay-Z were seen cheering for Blue at the red carpet premiere in LA. Beyoncé also took to social media to shower Blue with even more love, writing, “My gorgeous baby girl. This is your night. You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara. Your family could not be prouder. Keep shining.”
