It seems that Sean “Diddy” Combs had a feeling that his extravagant parties might land him in hot water someday.
after he was arrested in New York City and faced serious charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution, an old video from 1999 has surfaced on the internet. In it, Diddy seems to hint that he might eventually find himself in trouble because of his lavish gatherings.

“You’re gonna hear about my parties, they’re gonna be shuttin’ ’em down,” Combs said to Entertainment Tonight at the time. “They’re gonna probably be arresting me, doing all types of crazy things just ‘cause we wanna have a good time.” The Bad Boys Entertainment founder added, “They won’t even give me a permit for the parties, man. They don’t want me to throw the parties no more. But we ain’t gonna stop, we gonna keep on having fun. Bringing people together for all walks of life.”
During the interview, Combs talked about the events he was organizing and his desire to “introduce a new element into people’s surroundings” to help expand their perspectives. However, he noted that “People get intimidated. It’s a lot of people out there that feel intimidated by it.”
Although the music mogul recognized that he was famous for his legendary events, he stated that it didn’t make him feel particularly special, even though they used to be the most sought-after tickets in town.
“It doesn’t make me feel like a bigger person,” he said. “It just makes me feel like I know how to throw a party.”

Following his arrest on September 16, Combs is accused of having “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct” for many years.
He pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution during a hearing on September 17, and a New York City judge denied his request for a $50 million bail package.
Recently, TMZ released footage of Combs’ arrest in New York City, showing him entering the lobby of the Park Hyatt New York in midtown Manhattan with a large group. He was quickly approached by federal agents, who escorted him away, and he was later seen being led out of the hotel in handcuffs.
