Vanessa Bryant is celebrating her late daughter, Gianna Bryant on what would have been her 18th birthday.
This Wednesday, Bryant took to Instagram to share a sweet post. It read, “Happy birthday to my gorgeous girl, Gigi! I love you. I miss you. I’m so proud of you. 2024 was your year.
You would’ve been graduating high school and choosing which college to go to. (I would’ve been trying my hardest to convince you to stay close to home).”
She continued, “I’m proud of the change in sports you and daddy worked so hard on. You continue to motivate me and inspire young women and girls daily. I love you always, mommy. #PlayGigisWay #Mambacita Forever.
#18.” In addition to this sweet post, Vanessa celebrating Gianna with the release of a new version of the Nike Kobe 8 “Mambacita.”
The 41-year-old shared photos of the sweet design on her Instagram on Monday, April 29. She wrote in her caption, “MAMBACITA

Fans as well as several of Bryants’ close friends shared birthday messages to Gianna under the comments of her post.
