More details coming out about the scary incident that unfolded outside of Drake’s Toronto home.
As we previously reported, overnight, the rappers $100M mansion became the scene of a shooting that has left one person severely injured. At the time, details were scares but more have since come forth.
Police sources reveal to outlets that the victim in question has been identified as a member of Drake’s security team, heightening concerns about the rapper’s safety. It was said that the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the upper chest. Reports suggest that the attack was carried out in a drive-by fashion, further intensifying concerns about the safety of the rapper and those close to him.
Fortunately, Drake himself was not harmed during the incident, and it remains unclear whether he was present at his home at the time of the shooting.
While police are currently investigating the incident, it remains uncertain if the shooting is connected to the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. However, the assailants’ motive and identity are yet to be determined.

Of course, as news of the shooting spread, speculation arose regarding a potential link to the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. However, law enforcement authorities have not yet confirmed any connection between the shooting and the rap rivalry.
However, over in London, the OVO Store, affiliated with Drake’s brand, was targeted by vandals. The store’s front window was spray-painted with the phrase “They not like us,” signaling the growing tension and animosity between the two rap artists.
