Sean Kingston Faces 10 Charges In Fraud Case — Remains In The Slammer

Not so good news for Sean Kingston. The singer not only finds himself in a cell but facing even more legal trouble after being hit with 10 charges in his fraud case.

Currently held without bail in California, Kingston awaits extradition to Florida for his scheduled court hearing. This comes after his arrest last week for allegedly failing to return a $150,000 gaming system following a raid on his Florida home. Authorities also apprehended his mother, Janice Turner in the process. The charges against them include fraud, theft, and an organized scheme to defraud multiple companies.

The arrest warrant states that Kingston and Turner are accused of defrauding various businesses, including a jeweler, an exotic car dealer, and several others, for a total amount exceeding six figures. The allegations range from a Cadillac Escalade worth $159,701.49 to jewelry valued at a staggering $480,000. In addition to these charges, Kingston is also facing a grand theft charge for a custom bed totaling $86,568.33. The remaining charges are related to defrauding banks and writing bad checks. Turner, on the other hand, is facing a total of eight charges.

It is worth noting that one of the charges against Kingston is a probation violation. Previously, he was on probation for trafficking stolen property.
