More details are coming out about Kanye West’s latest battery case and it appears to be a big mixup.

As previously reported, Ye has been named as a suspect in a battery case in Los Angeles after the rapper, formerly known as Kanye West, allegedly punched another man in the face after he allegedly “grabbed” Ye’s wife, Bianca Censori.

However, according to updated reports,
Kanye is being accused of punching the wrong twin after a “run-in” involving Bianca at the Chateau Marmont hotel in L.A. So who’s the man involved? Well per TMZ, the individual who bore the brunt of Kanye’s actions turned out to be one half of a prominent twin duo known for their influence in the local restaurant scene.

Eyewitnesses present during the altercation, tell the news outlet that the sequence of events differed significantly from the narrative put forth by Kanye’s team. It was reported that a brief encounter occurred in the hotel lobby when a man accidentally bumped into Bianca amidst the busy crowd. Subsequently, the man proceeded outside and joined his friends at a table, where Kanye confronted him and allegedly delivered a punch to his face. However, the twist in the tale emerged when it was revealed that the man Kanye struck was, in fact, a twin, leading to a case of mistaken identity.

As of right now, the twins involved are said to be Mark and Jonnie Houston. However, as of right now, it is unclear l which one ran into Bianca, and which was hit.

They’re renowned for their ownership of several popular restaurants frequented by celebrities in L.A., including establishments such as No Vacancy, Davey Wayne’s, Black Rabbit Rose, and Break Room 86. Despite the confusion surrounding the identities of the twins in question, the repercussions of Kanye’s actions were swift, prompting police involvement and categorizing him as a suspect in a battery report.

Authorities have yet to uncover evidence supporting this assertion, signaling an ongoing investigation into the matter. As the case progresses, the next steps involve the completion of the investigation followed by a review by the City Attorney’s office to determine potential legal ramifications.

Meanwhile, Kanye’s representatives maintain their stance on the incident, emphasizing the severity of the alleged assault. “This was a physical, sexual assault and any attempt to undermine the seriousness of what happened is repellent and vile.”

A rep for the Houston Brothers has yet to release a statement.
