Travis Scott Requests Dismissal From Astroworld Festival Lawsuit — Arguing Crowd Safety Was Not His Responsibility 

Travis Scott has reportedly requested to be dismissed from the civil litigation involving the deadly 2021 Astroworld festival. 

Travis Scott’s attorney a new motion on Monday which reads, “performers are not expected to render special protection to the audience, nor to safeguard them from the rest of the crowd.” His attorneys further argue Scott was a performer and not responsible for crowd safety and management.
