North West is following in her father’s footsteps! The daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, announced her debut album at her father’s “Vultures 2” listening party in Phoenix.
Northy took the stage during the show and made the big announcement in front of thousands of fans. She shared that the title of the album will “Elementary School Dropout,”— homage to Kanye’s iconic debut album, “The College Dropout.”
‘Hi, it’s Northie, and I’ve been working on an album. And it’s called Elementary School Drop Out,” the 10-year-old said as the crowd erupted into roaring cheers. The announcement of North’s album title sparked excitement and cheers from the crowd, who recognized the clever nod to Kanye’s musical legacy. Despite her young age, North is already making waves in the music industry, following her feature on Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s track “Talking/Once Again” from “Vultures 1,” which landed her a spot on the Billboard charts.
However, North’s foray into rap stardom comes at a time when Kanye is publicly criticizing her private school in Los Angeles, a move that has reportedly caused tension between Kanye and Kim. While Kim is said to be upset with Kanye’s public airing of grievances, North’s album announcement adds another layer of intrigue to the situation.
Either way, it looks like Kim and Ye are both on the same page when it comes to North’s musical talents.

Of course, with great parents like Kanye West and Kim, the little creative is already set up for success. She previously shared how she plans to follow in her father and mother’s footsteps and hopes to take over their empires one day.
“One day I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS, and I want to be a business owner,” North told i-D in her cover story last year.
Ye had also previously revealed in a September 2022 interview with ABC News that he had told his eldest daughter not to let others “take over” the family businesses and to protect her younger siblings.
“I’m literally saying this to her because I realize she’s one of the people in the family who will make sure that no one ever takes our company, no one ever takes what me and Kim have built with both of our brands and the brands that we’re building now,” Ye said.
