Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has reportedly been ordered to take paternity test to see if he’s the biological father of a woman who sued him last year, USA Today reports.
According to Dallas Morning News, Alexandra Davis, 27, filed court documents stating that her mother’s ex-husband is not her father, because she got it confirmed through genetic testing. “Alex is in a position where she really no longer has to hide her truth or live under the thumb of fear, and maybe she’s going to finally get some peace, and we hope other families will have that same benefit from the judge following the law,” Davis’ attorney Kris Hayes said.

Davis’ lawsuit in 2022 alleged that she was conceived when Jerry Jones and her mother was dating in the mid-1990s. An agreement was reached where Jones would provide support financially to Davis but not acknowledge or identify publicly that Jones was Alexandra Davis’ father. Then in 2023 Davis sued Jones again for defamation claiming that Jones made attempts to refer to her as an “extortionist” and “shakedown artist.” The case was refiled in November after being partially dismissed in October.
Jerry Jones publicly claims his three children, Stephen, Charlotte, and Jerry Jr., and they have all followed in their father’s footsteps in some way. Stephen serves as the Cowboys’ Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team. Charlotte is the Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer, responsible for the team’s marketing and brand development. Jerry Jr. is the Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, focusing on the team’s revenue generation and business operations.
Despite being born into wealth and privilege, Jerry Jones has instilled in his children the values of hard work, dedication, and integrity. He has raised them to understand the importance of earning their own success and not relying solely on their family name.
In a recent interview, Jerry Jones shared his pride in his children’s accomplishments, stating that he is grateful for their dedication to the family business and their commitment to upholding the legacy of the Dallas Cowboys.
It is clear that Jerry Jones has not only been a successful businessman and sports owner, but also a loving and supportive father. His children have flourished under his guidance and continue to make him proud with their contributions to the Dallas Cowboys organization. Jerry Jones’ legacy will undoubtedly live on through his children, who are carrying on his passion for football and commitment to excellence.
