Consequence wants Kanye to put some respect on his name and support!
Ye’s latest release of the $200 Yeezy Pods footwear has stirred up controversy, but it’s not for the reasons you might expect. Consequence, Kanye’s day one advisor, has come forward demanding an apology from the controversial rapper. However, the apology is not related to the release of the Yeezy Pods; instead, it stems from a different issue altogether.
In a lengthy post, Consequence who’s been a longtime friend and advisor to Kanye West since 2002, took to social media to express his discontent. He claims that Kanye put him and other supporters, including Don C, John Monopoly, and GLC, in an uncomfortable position. This predicament arose when Kanye publicly stated that he was alone in his fight against what he perceives as Jewish powers that be. Consequence feels that this statement undermined their collective efforts and loyalty to Kanye over the years. Consequence is now demanding an apology from Ye. He argues that if Kanye can apologize to the Jewish people he offended, then he should be able to extend the same courtesy to his team who have always been by their side. Consequence emphasizes that the apology should be in English, underscoring the need for a direct and sincere expression of remorse:
“I’m posting this clip of the YZY Pods because I was asked to by a staff member but I have to get something off my chest regardless of the consequences… I have always lent my love, support and expertise to YE since ConMan Productions circa 2002 So @kanyewest.” He continued, “NEVER again say in public or to others in private that you are ALONE. That’s the biggest SLAP IN THE FACE you could give to your TEAM. Guys like me, Don C, Monop, GL, Doe, IBN, Arrow and even Virgil (RIP) have given you big portions of our Adult lives so that we could all be ‘The Bulls.’
The veteran rapper went on to say, “But we didn’t help you become Jordan so you could turn into Jerry Krause and start playing 3D Musical chairs wit da bros!!! You can be the one with the Money And even the Power But I will always need my RESPECT. If you can apologize to the Jewish community in Hebrew… Then maybe you should apologize to a few of your guys in
English Love vou bro. But This Is 192.”
Kanye has not yet responded to Cons yet but he has been promoting his new Yeezy pods which look a lot like socks.
His sneaker drop also comes after he made headlines earlier last week for apologizing for to the Jewish community for his past offensive comments.
Aside from that, it appears that he’s still gearing up to drop his new join album “Vultures” with Ty Dolla $ign.
