Got to love North West: In Kim Kardashian’s latest cover story for GQ Magazine’s Men Of The Year issue, the beauty mogul shares more funny moments of her daughter North West.

While looking back on her journey of becoming a beauty and business mogul, the reality star recalled the work ethic she developed all thanks to her late dad, Robert Kardashian Sr. Kim told the outlet that her dad never believed him handouts and had all three of his daughters work at his business Movie Tunes in their teens. One of Kim’s first jobs was writing the intro and outro copy for each song. She explained, “My dad had me sign a contract for everything,” Kim says. “When I got a car, I had to have it washed once a week, make sure that it had enough gas and that I didn’t run it into the ground. It was a gift he gave me at 16, but I had responsibilities.” Although her dad Robert allowed her to use his credit card for such purchases, she still had to pay it off… and quickly, plus interest. “I’d work at my job and give him my paycheck,” she says.

These memories are something that still sticks with her to this day, and she’s making sure they become a helpful lesson to her daughter North. While speaking about the 10-year-old, Kim, 43, also shared that North has a lemonade stand job. “She gets a huge pitcher and fills it, puts it in her wagon, and goes down to the corner,” says Kim. “She has a table and chairs and fans to keep herself cool. She makes signs. She stays there hours and hours. Her friends help, so she splits the money with them.” Kim went on to hilariously reveal, “If a random person stops, she will charge them only $2. If she knows you, she will fully scam you. I’ll get calls from my friends saying she charged them $20 for a lemonade. She’ll grab their $20 and say, ‘I don’t have any change.’

“I try to have my kids be as normal as possible and live in a neighborhood where they can ride bikes to their cousins’ houses,” Kim continued, not ignorant of the fact that that neighborhood is fortified with a gated entrance and guards who request identification to enter, in addition to the family’s own security. “I understand that it is not a normal life. We’re never going to have a normal family life, no matter what. As a parent, I want to protect them as much as I can.”

North West probably won’t be running her lemonade stand for long as she already has plans to take over her parents’ businesses one day.

During her own little interview for ID Magazine, she shared what she wants to be when she grows up. At first, North said, “A basketball player, a rapper, um… Well, when I was seven, I wanted to be a boxer. But now I don’t want to be a boxer. I’m going to do art on the side. When I’m, like, thirteen, I want to walk dogs, to make money to buy art supplies, because everything around here is so expensive. So a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell.” North went on to say, “Also, one day I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS, and I want to be a business owner.” I know that’s right!

The confident star who’s just as fashionable as her super famous mom also was asked who’s your style icon? With no hesitation, North replied, “Me.”
