All The Stars Come Out To Celebrate Prime Video’s “Candy Cane Lane”

Tonight, Tuesday November 28, all the festive cheer was sprinkled upon the Regency Theaters in Westwood, California as Prime Video created a winter wonderland to celebrate the premiere of the highly anticipated “Candy Cane Lane” movie.

Guests were greeted with a festive red carpet, decked out with Santa’s sleigh. Themed photo ops, festive food and all the trimmings to bring in the holiday season.

Alongside producers Brian Grazer, Karen Lunder, andCharisse Hewitt-Webster, writer Kelly Younger and musical talent Chloe BaileyRaphael Saadiq, and Marcus Miller were also there to celebrate.

The film reunites director Reginald Hudlin, Murphy, and producer Brian Grazer for the first time since their 1992 hit, Boomerang.The screenplay comes from Kelly Younger, inspired by his own holiday experiences on Candy Cane Lane in El Segundo, California. The film also stars Tracee Ellis Ross, Jillian Bell, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Ken Marino, Nick Offerman, Robin Thede, Chris Redd, Genneya Walton, Madison Thomas, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, Lombardo Boyar, D.C. Young Fly, Danielle Pinnock, Timothy Simons, Riki Lindhome, Stephen Tobolowsky. The holiday comedy follows an adventure about a man on a mission to win his neighborhood’s annual Christmas home decoration contest. After Chris (Eddie Murphy) inadvertently makes a deal with a mischievous elf named Pepper (Jillian Bell) to better his chances of winning, she casts a magic spell that brings the 12 Days of Christmas to life, and wreaks havoc on the whole town. At the risk of ruining the holidays for his family, Chris, his wife Carol (Tracee Ellis Ross), and their three children must race against the clock to break Pepper’s spell, battle deviously magical characters, and save Christmas for everyone.

“Candy Cane Lane” truly captures the essence of Christmas and brings hilarious moments with an iconic story and lovable characters.

The film is out December 1 on Prime Video!
